I have been photographing the world of sailing for over 50 years and continue to do so with enthusiasm. Over time I have learned that it is not enough to try to create beautiful images that are able to convey real emotions or the intensity of the atmosphere. It is equally important to share them with other people who can appreciate them. From the beginning I thought that publishing them on a calendar was a good way to show them and I’m still convinced of this, so I continue to photograph but also to navigate through the images in my archive where I find moments, atmospheres and emotions from the past.
